Two creative ladies invading the Midwest with Crafts and Cosplay!
NiCoral enriches the midwest with comic arts, costumes, and entertainment. We are in this for the love of the art, the culture, and most importantly the community.
NiCoral can be seen every year at MCBA's comic conventions MSP ComicCON in May and FallCon in October. At these cons, we put on our Arkham Asylum Carnival where we provide not only our handmade merchandise, but also games, prizes, concessions, and photo ops with costumed characters. This is by far our favorite event of the year and we love interacting with the lovely attendees and guests who come out to see us!
NiCoral History
NiCoral was formed on the car ride home after SpringCON 2011. We decided there needed to be something more for kids to do at the shows. Being that Kiki's favorite comic book is Batman, this was the inspiration for Arkham Carnival.
FallCon 2011 was the first show for NiCoral; we had a corner booth with one merch table, a couple dozen muffins, our infamous spinny wheel game, bag toss game, and of course prizes!
It is amazing to see how far we've come in just a few years. We now have a giant tent, multiple decorative pillars, mug shot backdrop for photo ops, popcorn machine, free treats, giant merch table, multiple games with prizes, and many many costumed characters!
